I was born in Akron, OH and raised in Michigan. I have worked in my family’s businesses since I was a teenager and worked throughout my educational career. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Michigan-Dearborn College of Business with Honors and was hired by the Ford Motor Company where I worked in Corporate Finance. An unfortunate experience with our legal system motived me to change careers and to become a lawyer to help people seek justice who have not been treated fairly. I graduated from The University of Toledo College of Law and then worked at a non-profit in the COVID-response team where I gained valuable daily courtroom experience.
