Hassan, MD, MHS, is an OB/GYN physician at Contemporary Women’s Care, where she sees patients at the Lake Nona office.
She completed her dual Bachelor’s degrees with a double major in Behavioral Biology and Spanish at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
She continued her studies at Johns Hopkins and earned her Master’s of Health Sciences Degree from the Bloomberg School of Public Health in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with a concentration in Reproductive & Cancer Biology.
During her years at Johns Hopkins, her passion for the medical and clinical sciences continued to grow and she returned to Florida to earn her medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando.

Dr. Hassan completed her OB/GYN residency at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
During her residency, she obtained certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and Da Vinci Robotic Surgery.
She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes clinicians for their dedication to providing compassionate patient care and fostering strong physician-patient connections.
She also received a medical school teaching award and best presentation award for her resident research.
In her final year of residency, she served as chief resident of the resident clinic serving as the resident/faculty liaison.
