Born in Khartoum, Sudan, Dr. Kronfli graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Khartoum and worked for 2 years as a surgical resident before moving to the United States.
Dr. Saeed completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St.
Barnabas Hospital in New York and his Nephrology Fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He joined Washington Nephrology Associates in 1991 and currently serves as its managing partner.
He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
His clinical interests include glomerulonephritis and electrloyte disturbances.
Dr. Kronfli is married with two daughters.
He is an avid soccer and basketball fan and enjoys playing badminton and traveling.
