Ray Kermani is a seasoned trial lawyer who consistently obtains favorable verdicts for his clients.
His practice focuses on catastrophic injury, employment law, and complex unlawful detainer disputes.Mr.
Kermani has successfully represented prominent banks and real estate firms in hotly contested jury trials throughout Los Angeles. He is one of the most established and distinguished attorneys in the areas of rent control (Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance), Section 8 and HUD housing.
Ray has also tried cases involving automobile accidents, defective consumer and industrial products, product liability, wage and hour, complex landlord-tenant disputes, post-foreclosure evictions, business disputes, consumer class actions, legal malpractice, arbitration, and appeals.
Mr.
Kermani is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and a former judicial extern for the Honorable Gil Freeman of the 9th Judicial District in Florida.
Ray is proud of his public service record and his active involvement with important public interest programs, including clerkships and volunteer services with the Los Angeles City Attorneys’ Office, the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles, El Centro De Pueblo and Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office.
Mr.
Kermani also serves on the board of directors and manages the legal section for Casa Soledad, a non-profit corporation that provides social welfare services to the community.
Ray is a product of the Los Angeles area, having grown up in the South Bay.
On the weekends, he enjoys playing basketball and crossfit.
As a two-time UCLA alumnus, Ray is a devoted Bruins fan and Los Angeles Lakers fan.
Ray enjoys traveling and has studied languages in various countries within Europe, South America, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Africa.
