History
Established in 1981.
La Mediterranee on Noe opened in September of 1981.
Situated in the heart of the Castro District, La Med has been serving award winning dishes to locals and visitors alike.
Mid-East and Mediterranean cuisine inspired by founder Levon Der Bedrossian's Armenian and Lebanese family recipes.
His long term partner Alicia Vanden Heuvel runs the front of house while his son Vanick keeps the kitchens running with dishes prepared from scratch daily.
Serving affordable lunch specials, an awesome Happy hour, and perfect-first-date Dinner services, our cozy cafe is always welcoming.
Locals love to catch a table at our new outdoor, heated parklet, enjoying a glass of wine while people watching on a sunny afternoon....
