Welcome to my Web page and thank you for taking the time to visit.
I really appreciate your interest.
Biography I'm originally from Fall River, Massachusetts.
My parents were immigrants from Egypt.
(I visited Egypt once, and it was a great trip!) I lived in Washington, D.C., for four years where I attended Georgetown University for my undergraduate education.
There I studied languages and linguistics.
After that, I went to medical school closer to home in Boston, but decided on a big change for residency: McGill University in freezing cold Montreal! I really enjoyed my time there, though.
Culturally and socially, Quebec was a real eye-opener and proved to be very worthwhile.
I definitely learned a lot and grew as a person and a physician from my diverse experiences there.
About my practice I am relatively new to Kaiser Permanente, having recently finished my dermatology residency and my dermatology board exams.
I am excited to join the great team at Kaiser Permanente Riverside.
Each member of the staff is really terrific and very caring.
I've really enjoyed meeting all my wonderful patients- each one has a different story to tell.
I feel privileged to be their dermatologist and have them entrust their care to me.
I try to always live up to the standard of care that they expect and deserve.
How I thrive I thrive by staying close to my family and enjoying my time with my husband and wonderful daughter.
I am very fortunate to have such a loving family circle and to have a second child just entering our lives.
I look forward to balancing the challenges of full-time practice with being a mother and a wife.
I have a tremendous amount of support at home, so it's been great so far.
Hope to see you soon!
