He is a board certified neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
He specializes in treating disorders such as, but not limited to the following :
Headache disorders, such as migraines and post traumatic headaches
Concussions and post concussive syndrome.
Dizziness, such as vertigo
Memory loss and cognitive impairment
Cerebrovascular disease, such as stroke
Movement disorders such as tremors and Parkinson’s disease

Neuropathies
Infections of the brain and peripheral nervous system

Spinal cord disorders
Neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease
Dr. Elsharif received an Bachelor of Science degree in genetics and cell biology from the University of Minnesota and a Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine.
He completed a residency in internal medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital and a residency in neurology at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson.
Dr. Elsharif has participated in numerous preceptorships during his training and was an assistant professor with the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine.Dr. Elsharif is currently a neurologist at Beaver Medical Group.
He is a member of the American Academy of Psychiatry & Neurology, and the American Medical Student Association.
