Dr. Omari graduated from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in 1985.

He worked as an attending in the United Kingdom until he was recruited by Wayne State University’s Orthopedic Program based at Taylor Michigan, which has since merged with the Beaumont Royal Oak Orthopedic residency program.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Omari is heavily involved with the orthopedic residency program and research, with an interest in technology and joint replacement.
He obtained his American Board of Orthopedic surgery certification in 2014.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing sports, including soccer and cycling.
