History
Established in 1985.
Baba K is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant.
Baba means father in Arabic, and the "K" stands for Khaled, the primary owner and executive chef at Baba K.
Baba K spelled backwards is coincidently "Kabab" which is the most popular Mediterranean dish worldwide.
Khaled's journey started in his beautiful home of Amman, Jordan, a small, peaceful country in the Middle East rich in culture, flavor and spices.
It was there that he found his talent and passion for cooking.
Khaled soon created secret recipes for delicate dishes to start a family legacy.
Today, Khaled passes on the recipes to his son, Yacoub, who joins him in this new journey.
Khaled previously owned two restaurants in Jordan that were sold after the passing of his father.
Soon after, he decided to move to the U.S.
with Yacoub to embark on a new endeavor where he's now able to relive the magical flavors of his home country, together with his son.
