Our Mission
Al-Kawthar’s mission is to make students learn classical Arabic in fun and creative ways so they can ultimately understand the Qur’aan in its own language, and apply its teachings in their daily lives.
Al-Kawthar aims to foster a sense of student control over learning and generate interest in the subject matter by creating good learning tasks appropriate to each student’s level of understanding to make them learn better, and enjoy learning more.
Al-Kawthar also employs the California Standards of Reading/Language Arts Principles as a guideline for teaching Arabic as a Second Language.
These standards allow teachers to reach out to each student individually and establish realistic goals.
